Degrading floor material from porcelain tile to commonly perceived lower quality gravels to redefine the quality of spaces, blurring the boundary of materialism and spatial experience to find new value in place, such as the human togetherness, human interactions, and invoke architecture awareness of place through the tangible experience of indoor-outdoor ambiguity.
