This project is to design a retreat house for an artist, Mohamad Zaki Anwar on a given site which is a slope with the north point facing the sea located in Merang Beach, Terengganu.
The main objectives are to design according to the client's uniqueness and needs, and reflects the essence of the site.
To translate the passion and source of inspiration of an artist, which is the curvature in the human body, into the architectural built environment.
With the ambiguity, complexity, and chaos, invoke an ambiance which gives a sense of pleasure.
The form, need not be expressed in terms of function, rather, it gives off a sensational feeling and the continuity of the contour.
Order in the chaos nature is established when the organics are invited to mesh nature.
