Completed in 2019, a House in a House is an additive structure loft extension inside a semi-D that gives a new heart to an existing house.
With the existing furniture, preference, and style of items scattered all around the house without a preferred order, the new multifunctional add-on structure with a symbol of a house reorganizes the entire home experiences when the spaces are experienced in sequences.
Assembled in mild steel, tempered glass, and treated plywood as the main material, the new "house" conveys a simple yet meaningful idea while the textile experience gives a modest affection.
The mild steel sliding glass door, when push or pull, distinguishes the spatial territories between the rest of the spaces within the house in experience tangibility, sense of privacy, and multi-functionality from the house within a house.
